Gary has worked in animation for over 25 years, with credits as commercials director, art director, storyboard artist, and character animator in 2d and 3d, on movies, tv-series, and commercials.
 

Starting his career on Richard Williams’ The Thief and the Cobbler,

Gary has animated on such films as Space Jam, The Prince of Egypt, Sinbad Legend of the Seven Seas,

Gnomeo and Juliet, The Tale of Despereaux, Sherlock Gnomes, and John Carter of Mars.

Lead Character Designer for Gnomeo and Juliet, produced by Sir Elton John’s ROCKET PICTURES

and released by the Walt Disney Company’s Touchstone division. 

He has been contracted to design characters for projects in development and production at

Sony Pictures Animation, D-Neg, Digital Domain, Paramount Animation, and Rocket Pictures.

Also a character visual development artist for AARDMAN on CHICKEN RUN 2

He was part of the 2D animation crew for NONEMORE PRODUCTIONS,

on the animated adaptation of Charlie Mackesy's book. THE BOY, THE MOLE, THE FOX AND THE HORSE,

     (Winner of the 2023 ACADEMY AWARD for Best Animated Short Film and the 2023 Bafta Award for Best British Short Animation

and for LUPUS FILMS UK, on an animated feature adaptation of Michael Morpurgo's novel, KENSUKE'S KINGDOM
